Description

    I joined as a Toddler Teacher eager to start my new adventure at KinderCare. Through my experiences of teaching and coaching my peers, I was guided through many KinderCare positions which ultimately lead to Center Director here at Minnetonka KinderCare. I am passionate about my teachers and driving them to be the best they can be. One of my favorite aspects of my job is being able to touch the lives of each child in the building. You will often find me sharing fun stories with parents at the end of the day, along with exciting news that their child has accomplished! We bring high quality to all of our programs through child guided activities and through teacher-child interactions that set us above the rest.     I started working at KinderCare in 1999 excited to begin my journey at KinderCare. I have been able to teach many ages and touch the lives of children who now have graduated high school! I believe in setting an setting an example for my teachers as a leader, all while having fun with those that surround me. After teaching for over 10 years, I had the opprtunity to be an Assistant Director at a few schools around the metro area, ending here at Minnetonka. I love that I have the ability to dabble in each classroom every day and support our teachers in their passions of teaching. I truly enjoy what I do in making a difference in children's development.

    Ms. Jen has been with KinderCare for quite a few years and she loves working with children. She really enjoys watching them grow and develop their own personalities. Ms. Jen had previously worked at a non KinderCare center and she heard great things about the KinderCare family and decided to join the team! She loves working with the babies and she bonds with each of them individually. She loves to make portfolios of the babies in her classroom. At the end of their time in the infant classroom Ms. Jen has a well documented picture book of their time.

    Shelley has always felt a special connection with children.  She started babysitting at 12 years old and her love for teaching children grew from there.  She loves art and foreign languages and loves to incorporate them in fun ways.

  • Ms. Lauren

    Ms. Lauren enjoys spending time getting on the floor and playing with the babies! She engages them in playing peek-a-boo and having dance parties. She loves to make the babies smile and giggle and will do whatever it takes to get them there. Lauren loves to give individual attention to each child in the center and trying tomake them all feel special!
