  • Carolyn

    Pilates Instructor

    Carolyn O’Hehir is a native of Plymouth, MN. She attended Wayzata High School and then the University of Minnesota where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Carolyn grew up dancing and was introduced to Pilates as a way to supplement her training. While at the U of M she started taking private Pilates reformer sessions and really fell in love with the workout. After graduating in the spring of 2010 Carolyn moved to Los Angeles, CA to continue dancing and began working at the Sony Pictures Athletic Club as a front desk associate. During that time Carolyn completed her Stott Pilates training at John Garey Pilates and started teaching private sessions at Equinox Sports Club in Beverly Hills. She added group classes at Club Pilates Hollywood soon after, and for the last five years taught private sessions and group classes at the Sony Pictures Athletic Club. Carolyn loves getting to know her clients and creating a fun workout environment!

    Lorene has been an inspiration in the health and fitness industry over the past 30 years, teaching and training individuals and groups to have fun while improving their lives through Pilates. She received her Peak Pilates certification in 2010 and recently completed certifications through Balanced Body in Mat, Reformer, Trapeze, Chair, Barrels and Anatomy in 3 Dimensions. Lorene’s programs are designed to be safe, progressive, effective and challenging, so whether you need help with weight loss, improved core strength, increased flexibility, or building beautifully sculpted muscles, she will help you to transform your body! Lorene is a former Gopher State Bodybuilding champion and Mrs. Minnesota America “most physically fit” pageant award winner.Lorene’s passion is to influence others to live a healthy lifestyle, which compels her to keep learning, researching and growing as a successful teacher. Additionally she is has taught Yoga, HIIT, Functional Power Training and Tabata. She is a certified Personal Trainer through ACE, a Les Mills BODYFLOW Instructor.

    Christine discovered Pilates in 2015 and noticed quickly the improvement to her core strength and increased flexibility. She is Peak Pilates trained with over 550 hours completed in the classical Joseph Pilates method. Her training includes Reformer, Mat, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Chair and Small Barrel. She is excited to work with all levels from the beginner to the more advanced student. She is available for private training.

Through the encouragement of an instructor, she decided to make Pilates her career by enrolling the in Club Pilates Teacher Training program. She is committed to sharing her love of Pilates with students and helping others discover their strongest selves.

    Mallory fell in love with Pilates during her undergraduate studies and while rehabilitating from a hip injury. The endless results inspired her to begin a lifelong journey of Pilates training and continuing education. She has a lifetime love of soccer, golf and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In her free time, Mallory enjoys traveling, playing with her dog, being outdoors, art projects, going to concerts, cooking, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.

    Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness. --Joseph Pilates Cate first discovered Pilates during her time working as a Dental Hygienist. She quickly fell in love with the Pilates method, and decided to make a career change. She began a teacher training program in Eden Prairie, MN, and became Pilates Method Alliance certified with over 550 hours of training. Cate holds a strong belief in the beauty, strength, and grace of the exercises. She finds inspiration in the Pilates principles that are brought to life in the bodies being transformed by them. She is committed to mastering the method and sharing her knowledge with her students.

    Erica was introduced to Pilates after the birth of her son. She was looking for something to regain strength in her core, correct postural issues, and reconnect her mind, body and spirit. After doing some research she decided to give Pilates a try. It was the perfect fit! As her practice continued, so did her love and respect for Pilates. She decided to join the Pilates Teacher Training program to further her knowledge and to help others find strength in their own Pilates journey. Erica enjoys living an active lifestyle which includes hiking, running 5K’s and half marathons, and of course Pilates!

    Grace was introduced to Pilates while studying for her BFA in Dance at The University of Arizona. As a dancer, she understood how important it was to take care of her body. Dancing professionally lead to an injury where she had to take significant time off the stage. At that time, Grace was living in Australia and decided to further pursue Pilates. She studied under Studio Pilates in Australia and was a founding instructor at the first Studio Pilates in Melbourne. After healing and strengthening her own body with Pilates, she now loves to pass her knowledge and passion for Pilates to her clients by helping them build stronger bodies both physically and mentally.

    Maddy has always been involved in the theatre arts and has developed a deep appreciation for Pilates after years of dance and gymnastics. She is a graduate from Concordia University St.Paul where she not only received her bachelors in Biology but also was heavily involved in the theatre, choir, and dance programs. She is studying to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Concordia University St.Paul in hopes that one day she can work incorporating Pilates into physical therapy. Maddy's passion for dance and movement continues as she dances as a company member of the Minnesota Dance Collaborative and attends as many Zumba classes as she can! She is comprehensively certified in Pilates through Balanced Body and enjoys changing peoples lives through this unique form of exercise.

    Christine was introduced to Pilates by a massage client who offered a free session. After that Private she felt muscles she had never felt before. Practicing for a year she decided to pursue teaching as a career in adjunct with her massage therapy practice. Christine’s approach to pilates is very individualized, taking into account your personal goals and needs. Christine designs sessions to bring a heightened state of awareness that will flow into your everyday life. Christine has completed over 675 hours of comprehensive Pilates education in the classical method of Pilates at the Align Teacher Training Program. Christine is qualified in all levels of the Pilates Method from introductory through advanced Level V exercises, on the mat, reformer, cadillac, low chair, ladder barrel, and the ped-o-pull. Christine continued her training at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado completing over 100 additional hours of continuing education training to complete The Masters Program at The Pilates Center.

    Beth is a former professional dancer who was first introduced to Pilates by a guest choreographer in college. As a certified in Massage Therapist ,she has worked alongside chiropractors helping patients recover from injuries. After the birth of her third child, she rediscovered her love for Pilates and the reformer, finding that the exercises helped her get back to her previous, stronger self. With encouragement from an instructor, Beth enrolled in the Club Pilates Teacher Training program. She is excited to now teach others about how Pilates can benefit their lives.

    Susan holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She is a comprehensively certified Pilates Instructor trained with Balanced Body of Sacramento. As a lifelong learner, she continues to expand her knowledge completing courses in Pre and Post-Natal Wellness, Shoulder and Walking Biomechanics, Sacroiliac Function and Pilates, and Pilates for Osteoporosis. Susan began her Pilates journey over 10 years ago practicing in the Metro area. She found Pilates after an injury. Pilates helped her recovery and with body transformation. As a practitioner and instructor, Susan is inspired by how Pilates re-educates and heals the body. She has benefited from improved strength, flexibility, balance, posture, increased lung capacity for sports and living an active lifestyle. Outside of sharing her passion for Pilates and healthy living, Susan enjoys music, family, travel, hiking, outdoors, and hanging out with friends. She designs classes suitable for all ages, body types and fitness level. Susan is committed to helping others achieve effective movement with a renewed sense of well-being.

    I have been an avid fitness and sports enthusiast my whole life. I immediately fell in love with Pilates after taking my first class. Pilates not only challenged my body but also my mind. I love that Pilates is ever evolving and that there are always challenging exercises and variations with any apparatus. I am comprehensively trained and Pilates Method Alliance certified. I am also trained in TRX and Barre. My passion is sharing Pilates with others, helping them achieve body movement awareness, strength, flexibility and to transfer what they learn from Pilates into their everyday lives. I enjoy being outside, traveling, cooking, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends.
